EDM Info Pack November 2020

Below are some ideas to help get you started on your November 2020 EDM. Available content is listed below (if you would like something different, you can request it for GA to review and approve). You only need to nominate your 1x major and 1x minor content selection to finish off your EDM. We will organise everything else for you.

Major content

Black Friday promotion

Giant Australia will be launching an extensive campaign to drive online sales (Click & Collect) during the 4-day Black Friday-Cyber Monday shopping event (27/11/20-30/11/20). You will automatically benefit from any sales that are selected through your store. In addition, you can run your own Black Friday promotion, using the promotional framework from the national campaign (customised to suit your own promo). A playbook will be available in Week 47 to take you through all the options, which will include EDM, social and in-store assets. Giant Australia will also send more information to you about the national promotion shortly.

Click & Collect launch

Stores who use the Giant global web platform can now offer Click & Collect straight from their site (on gear only). This means your customers can buy directly off you (they do not need to select a store) and then pick up in-store when the gear arrives. Let your customers know about this great new option with a dedicated EDM as well as digital assets to support the campaign.

Rivet TT sale

Giant Australia is running a runout promotion of the Rivet TT helmet. This is a great way to drive customers to your store with a hot pricepoint (loss leader) or pick up some easy online sales (through the GA link). As well as the EDM option you also have access to digital assets and in-store assets to support the campaign.

Giant STP

There is now dedicated content to support the launch of the youth-oriented (relaunched) STP. This is a great way to start getting customers thinking about youth bikes ahead of the Xmas/gifting season. As well as the EDM (scroll down) option you also have access to digital assets to support the campaign.

Liv Tropic limited edition kit & bike

Liv just launched their limited edition Tropic kit (and matching bike) in Australia. This is a great way to engage your female audience (there is great content to support this) and make some sales. As well as the EDM option you also have access to digital assets to support the campaign.

Liv Montage limited edition kit & bike

Hot on the heels of the Tropic kit, Liv has just launched the Montage kit (and matching bike). As well as an EDM option you will also have access to digital assets to support the campaign.

Lay-by now for Xmas

This promotion is still available to let customers know you are accepting lay-bys, as a gentle reminder/incentive to kick-start Xmas shopping. This will tie into Xmas promotional activity which will be launching for GS stores soon. You also have access to digital assets and in-store assets to support the campaign.

CCC kit sale

The CCC team replica kit sale continues through November. This promotion is a great chance to drive sales/customers into your store. As well as the EDM option you also have access to digital assets and in-store assets to support the campaign.

Choose again from October

Pick one of the great major or minor options from October as your November major.

Minor content

Major as minor

You can double-dip here if you like – selecting another one of the major options as your minor (it will be a reduced version of the major). This is an easy way to feature two major pieces of content in one email to get your audience excited. NOTE: you will need to wait until both pieces of content are approved to launch before your EDM can go out. In addition, not all major content options are necessarily available as minor content options.

Pick one of the great major or minor options from October as your November major.

Once you have made your selection, please contact us using this link (or reply to the email you clicked off) and let us know. Remember to choose one 1x major content option (from those provided above), and 1x minor option. If you would like to run with your own content, please provide a little more detail on what you had in mind, and we will take to Giant Australia for costing and approval.

Note: You will be required to approve the EDM design and final campaign (provided as a test EDM) before your campaign can be sent.
