Print instructions for promotional assets

Specifications and detailed instructions for organising the printing of GSN promotional assets.
Who is responsible for what?

For some promotions, Giant Australia will provide print assets to stores (or agents) directly. For other activations, stores may be required to organise their own printed assets. Occasionally, there may be a combined approach – where GA provide a certain number of assets, with stores to source additional assets locally if they require them. Information on who is responsible for producing print assets will always be clearly identified in the promotion playbook, which is distributed to stores ahead of the promotion commencing.

The rest of this document deals directly with the case of stores needing to organise some (or all) of their printed assets for a promotion locally.

Note – you should always use a reputable local printer, who is capable of delivering the final product exactly as specified. Any materials produced with the Giant and/or Liv logo attached to it needs to be executed to a specific level of quality – as indicated in the specification for each product. You may not deviate from these specifications (or alter the artwork provided).

If you cannot find a good local specialist printer, try a printing chain such as Kwik Kopy (for smaller printed items) or Signarama (for signage and large format).

Staff t-shirts

To be sent to your preferred local printer – allowing up to 10-14 days lead time for production. The design of staff/store tees is always the same – a plain stock tee, with the Giant performance logo printed on the front (chest). All that should change per design is the shirt colour specification and the colour(s) of the logo print.

Print specification:

  • Shirt stock as per artwork file
  • Colours/print instructions as per artwork file
  • Size and location of print as per artwork file

It is important to make sure you use good quality shirts (as specced in the artwork), in the shirt colour specified. In addition, staff tees are to be screen printed in the highest quality possible (using a reputable printer), and not sublimated.

Window decals

Window decals will differ per promotion, so no specification is provided here. Instead, print instructions will be provided in the playbook for the specific promotion in question. Instructions on how to install any printed or provided window decals/stickers yourself can be found here.
