EDM Info Pack May 2019

Below are some ideas to help get you started on your May 2019 EDM. All you need to do is choose 1x major and 1x minor content piece (which can include your own ideas), and we will organise everything else for you.
Major content

Autumn apparel feature

Giant and Liv have just dropped their new Diversion range, Liv Cephira vest, and long-sleeve Race Day jersey. With many states entering the colder weather months, this may be a great time to let your customers know you have fresh gear available in-store. The call to action (CTA) would be to your gear page.


Mother’s Day feature

Show mum some two-wheeled love this Mother’s Day (on May 12). Featuring a vibrant women’s cycling themed design, with a CTA to the Liv gear or bike page of your choice. Note: If you choose this feature we will need your content choices submitted ASAP (see deadlines below).

Minor content

Ride Like King

Join the Giant Australia family in celebrating this global event over the last weekend of May. With Zwift events and more planned, this is a great way to engage your store community. Full details available soon.

New Recon lights

The popular Recon range has been expanded with new 100, 200 and 500-lumen headlights and taillights, to help your customers enhance visibility on any budget. Let your customers know they are available in-store now with a call to action to your gear page.

Your own idea

This is your opportunity to inject your own unique store DNA into your EDM. You could focus on a store special, local ride, new accessory brand – or anything else for that matter! This is a great way to share localised content with your community.

Submitting your content choices

Once you have made your selection (1x major and 1x minor), please contact us using this link (or reply to the email you clicked off), informing us which major and which minor option you would like to choose. If you would like to run with your own idea, please provide a little more detail on what you had in mind, so we can start designing it for you.

Note: If you are using the Mother’s Day piece for your major content, your EDM will be sent at a fixed date and time to maximise your reach ahead of this important retail event (see details below).

Key dates

For Mother’s Day EDM:

  • Store response (content selection) deadline: Monday 6/5
  • Designs completed: Wednesday 8/5
  • EDM send: Thursday 9/5

For Autumn Apparel EDM:

  • Store response (content selection) deadline: Friday 10/5
  • Designs completed: Wednesday 15/5
  • EDM send: Thursday 16/5 onwards

Note: You will be required to approve both the EDM design (provided as a PDF) and then the final campaign (provided as a test EDM) before your campaign can be sent.
