EDM Info Pack July 2020

Below are some ideas to help get you started on your July 2020 EDM. Giant Australia have nominated the major content piece(s) for the month (if there is more than one, you need to choose the one you want to run with). You then only need to nominate a minor content piece (which can include your own ideas) to finish off your EDM. We will organise everything else for you.

Major content

Neos Track GPS computer sale promotion

Giant Australia has launched a sale promotion on the Neos Track GPS cycling computer (similar to the aero helmet promotion in June). GA will run the sale for just over two weeks, while stores can continue to run it for as long as they like (GA will have all the details to you soon). The computers are discounted by 50%, and the sale will be pushed by GA, so it should drive a lot of consumer interest. You also have immediate access to digital assets for social media. Giant road saddles

The new Giant Fleet saddle range is now available. GA are promoting these great new saddles from Week 29, and you will be able to launch your EDM at the same time. You also have access to digital assets to support the launch.

Liv road saddles

The new Liv Alacra saddle range is now available. GA are promoting these great new saddles from Week 29, and you will be able to launch your EDM at the same time. You also have access to digital assets to support the launch.

Apparel sale promotion

Giant Australia will be launching a sale promotion on all apparel in Week 31 (28th July). GA will run the sale for just over two weeks, while stores can continue to run it for as long as they like (GA will have all the details to you soon). All apparel will be discounted by 30% during this period, and the sale will be pushed by GA, so it should drive a lot of consumer interest. CCC Team Collection

The new CCC Team limited-edition collection might be a great option for July if you didn’t run it in June – especially if you have a strong performance road riding audience. You also have immediate access to digital assets for social media. The Giant campaign page is here.

Liv Committed campaign

The new Liv global campaign is all about unapologetically advocating to get more women riding and supporting each other. It is inspiring, real, and accessible – something that might really resonate with your audience. You also have immediate access to digital assets for social media. You can learn more here.

Winter riding tips

If you didn’t go with it in June, Tim Berkel’s Winter Riding Tips might be a good option for July (especially for the southern states). Focussing on content, tips & tricks, this might be a solid change-up from the June helmet sale or similar. You also have immediate access to digital assets for social media. Minor content

Major as minor

You can double-dip here if you like – selecting another one of the major options as your minor (it will be a reduced version of the major). This is an easy way to feature two major pieces of content in one email to get your audience excited. NOTE: you will need to wait until both pieces of content are approved to launch before your EDM can go out.

Giant Beanie

An exclusive new item from Giant Australia, this low-cost, high visibility accessory looks great (and reps the brand) in any off-the-bike situation. You also have access to some great social/brand content from a local photoshoot that has just wrapped up. Something a little different – and something every fan of the brand will be clamoring for.

Giant Approach road saddle

The Giant Approach saddle offers pro features at an affordable price. GA are promoting these along with the new Fleet saddles in Week 29.

Store updates

Keep your customers up-to-date with your latest store updates, opening hours, store/club Zwift rides, or anything else for that matter.

Your own idea

This is your opportunity to inject your own unique store DNA into your EDM. You could focus on a store special, local ride, new accessory brand – or anything else for that matter! This is a great way to share localized content with your community.

Once you have made your selection, please contact us using this link (or reply to the email you clicked off) and let us know. Remember to choose one of the major content options provided above, and then your own selection for your minor piece of content. If you would like to run with your own idea for your minor content, please provide a little more detail on what you had in mind, so we can start designing it for you.
