EDM Info Pack January 2020

Below are some ideas to help get you started on your January 2020 EDM. Giant Australia have nominated the major content piece(s) for the month (if there is more than one, you need to choose the one you want to run with). You then only need to nominate a minor content piece (which can include your own ideas) to finish off your EDM. We will organise everything else for you.
Major content

Store sale

Are you having a sale in January and would like to push it through your EDM? We have some great on-brand art templates that we can customise to your store and offer (and even adjust to the name of your sale!). We can then add some example items in a grid on your EDM to whet your audience’s appetite, as well as help you set up your /sale page (if using the Giant global template) to list your offers. To top it off, we have website, social and in-store assets you can use to further promote your sale. This is a great way to move some product during a traditional retail sales period.

PXL KNT kit

This week Giant Australia released a strictly limited edition kit called PXL KNT. We have EDM (and social) assets you can use to promote the kit and drive your customers to buy online. Remember, you get margin from any online sales (and the customer has to come and collect it from your store) – so you have nothing to lose from promoting this great looking kit as something special for your customers to purchase.

Top ten bikes of 2019

Giant Australia has put together a special page on its website reviewing the top 10 custom Giant bikes of 2019. With lots of photos, as well as some great information on the details of each bike, this is pure cycling clickbait (think of how well images of custom bikes perform on Instagram).


Minor content

Store sale, PXL KNT or Top ten

You can double-dip here if you like – choosing one of the major content items to be your minor content as well. This is an easy way to feature 2x great offers to get your audience excited.

Your own idea

This is your opportunity to inject your own unique store DNA into your EDM. You could focus on a store special, local ride, new accessory brand – or anything else for that matter! This is a great way to share localized content with your community.

Once you have made your selection(s), please contact us using this link (or reply to the email you clicked off) and let us know. Remember to choose one major content option (if more than one is provided above), and then your own selection for your minor piece of content. If you would like to run with your own idea for your minor content, please provide a little more detail on what you had in mind, so we can start designing it for you.

Note: You will be required to approve both the EDM design (provided as a PDF) and then the final campaign (provided as a test EDM) before your campaign can be sent.
